Lac Saint-Jean, also Lake Saint John, lake in south-central Québec Province, Canada. The lake, which has an area of 1,070 sq km (414 sq mi), is fed by a number of streams from the north, including the Mistassini, Peribonca, Mistassibi, and Ashuapmuchuan rivers. It drains to the St. Lawrence River on the east by the Saguenay River.
