Julia (Daughter of Augustus) (39 bc- ad14), only child of the Roman emperor Augustus. She was married at the age of 14 to her cousin Marcus Claudius Marcellus, who died two years after the marriage. She then married the Roman general Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, to whom she bore three sons and two daughters. He died in 12 bc, whereupon Julia was given in marriage to Tiberius, stepson of Augustus and later emperor. Julia became notorious for profligacy and vice and was banished from Rome by her father.
