Auyuittuq National Park Reserve

Auyuittuq National Park Reserve, Canada, eastern Baffin Island, Nunavut Territory, established as Baffin Island National Park in 1972 and renamed in 1974. A scenic region lying largely north of the Arctic Circle, the park has deep, glacier-carved valleys and sheer-walled fjords. It contains the vast Penny Ice Cap. Area, 21,471 sq km (8,290 sq mi).
