1998: Ice Skating: Kwan, Eldredge Win U.S. Championships

Michelle Kwan and Todd Eldredge, both recovering from injuries, won the singles titles at the United States Figure Skating Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Eldredge captured the men's title for the fifth time on January 8, 1998, and Kwan won her second women's crown two days later.
