Palestinian Refugee Camp
During the Six-Day War of 1967, Israel captured territory from surrounding Arab nations. Thousands of Palestinian Arabs living in those areas fled to refugee camps administered by the United Nations, like the Baquar refugee camp in Jordan. The Palestinians remain the largest refugee population in the world.
