| In Zhabagaly near the eastern border of Kazakhstan, two young goatherds hold a kid. Some Kazakhs are seminomadic herders, living for part of the year in high grazing lands in their yurts, which are portable, felt-covered huts. In 2006, the country raised about 2,151,500 goats. | ||||||
