Canada Goose
Like other geese, the Canada goose mates for life and returns from southern wintering grounds to the same nesting sites year after year. A subspecies of the common Canada goose, the Aleutian Canada goose breeds in inland meadows and marshes on Alaska’s Aleutian Islands.
