Camel Caravan in the Sahara
A caravan of camels laden with bags of salt crosses the wind-swept sands of the Sahara in Mauritania. The Sahara is the largest desert in the world. Temperatures range from more than 54.4°C (130°F) during the day to below freezing at night.
