Adirondack Park
Adirondack Park is a state park located in the Adirondack Mountains of northeastern New York. The park was created in 1892 as the first forest preserve in the United States. It covers more than 2 million hectares (6 million acres). Although geographically isolated from major metropolitan areas, the park has more than 100 small towns within its borders.
