The Maryland State House

The State House in Annapolis, Maryland, was built in the 1770s. It served as one of the meeting sites for the Continental Congress. In 1784, it was here that Congress ratified the Treaty of Paris that ended the Revolutionary War. The State House is still used by the Maryland legislature.
