Visitor Center at Kennedy Space Center, Florida

The visitor center at John F. Kennedy Space Center attracts more than 3 million people annually to its exhibits, theaters, and full-scale replicas of space vehicles. The Apollo mission to the moon used the Saturn V rocket technology displayed here. The space center, located on Cape Canaveral along Florida’s Atlantic Ocean shore, was established in 1949. It is the principal site for the launching of United States satellites and rockets.
