Inside Neuschwanstein
Begun in 1869, Neuschwanstein Castle was built for King Ludwig of Bavaria on a rock ledge over the Pöllat Gorge, near the town of Füssen, in the Bavarian Alps. It is now a major tourist attraction. Shown here is the throne room, which was designed in the Byzantine style.
