State Opera House, Vienna
The State Opera House in Vienna is one of several performance halls for which this city is famous. Built between 1861 and 1869, the Opera House was inaugurated with a performance of Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on May 25, 1869. The building’s architects were August von Siccardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll.
