Hudson River

Hudson River
The Hudson River is one of the most important commercial waterways in the eastern United States, connecting the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River with New York City and the Atlantic Ocean. The river is named for English navigator Henry Hudson, who explored the waterway in the early 17th century.
