Burning Tank

Burning Tank
An Iraqi tank burns after it was destroyed during the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Tanks that were destroyed with penetrating projectiles made of depleted uranium were likely to have given off uranium oxides that could be inhaled, posing possible health hazards to survivors, rescuers, or anyone entering the tank without adequate respiratory protection.
