Uranus’s Moon Umbriel

Uranus’s Moon Umbriel
Uranus’s moon Umbriel is heavily cratered and reflects less light than most of the other large moons in the solar system. The bright ring at the top of the photo may be ice uncovered by a meteor impact. This photo was taken by the Voyager 2 spacecraft as it passed by Uranus in 1986.
