| Pueblo Bonito, the largest of the Anasazi Great Houses, covers more than one hectare (three acres) in northern New Mexico’s Chaco Canyon. The Great Houses combined rooms, kivas (ceremonial chambers), towers, plazas, and terraces. Pueblo Bonito took the shape of the letter D, with its straight side facing south. | ||||||
