| Walpi Pueblo is a Hopi settlement built on a hilltop near Flagstaff, Arizona. It was founded about 1680. The Hopi traditionally build their multistory apartment-like dwellings called pueblos out of rocks covered with adobe. Log beams run across the roof. Ladders are used to reach different stories. | ||||||
