The Gores and Liebermans

The Gores and Liebermans
In the 2000 presidential election, the Democratic Party chose Al Gore and Joseph Lieberman as the presidential and vice-presidential candidates. Although the Gore-Lieberman ticket received the most popular votes, the Republican ticket of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney won the election after five weeks of legal challenges. Waving to a crowd at a campaign stop are left to right Tipper Gore, Al Gore, Joseph Lieberman, and Hadassah Lieberman.
