U.S.-Iraq War of 2003

A U.S.-led coalition invaded Iraq in March 2003 with the aim of overthrowing the regime of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. The military campaign was short and one-sided. Three weeks after the invasion, U.S. troops forced Hussein into hiding and captured Baghdād.
