Skagerrak

Skagerrak
The Skagerrak, an arm of the North Sea, separates Norway and Sweden from the peninsula of Jutland. To the south, the Kattegat links the strait to the Baltic Sea. At Skagen, perched on the northernmost tip of Denmark, the currents of these two seas run counter to each other, creating hazardous conditions for shipping and sailing.
