Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Many inhabitants of the Caribbean islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are descended from Africans who were brought in to work sugarcane plantations in the 18th century. The country’s population today is a combination of black Africans, native Caribs, and East Indians.
