Art Institute of Chicago

Art Institute of Chicago
The Art Institute of Chicago is located in Grant Park along the Chicago lakefront. One of the country’s largest museums, the institute is known for its extensive collections of 19th-century French impressionist art and 20th-century paintings. A pair of stone lions have kept vigil at the museum entrance since 1894 and have been embraced by Chicagoans as symbols of the city.
