Alan Greenspan
Alan Greenspan began his fourth term as chairman of the Federal Reserve System (the system that controls the country’s money supply) in 2000. A firm believer in laissez-faire capitalism, Greenspan opposes government regulation and control over the economy. His policies as chairman enforce his belief that inflation can only be controlled by limited growth of the money supply.
