Little Yellow Horses

Little Yellow Horses
Little Yellow Horses is one of a series of paintings done by Franz Marc in the early 1900s. Marc was part of Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider) group, of which Wassily Kandinsky was also a member. Marc believed that animal forms were more beautiful than human ones, and his paintings reflect his philosophical belief in a spiritual connection with nature.
