Amon-Ra, Father of the Gods

Amon-Ra, Father of the Gods
The superior Egyptian deity Amon-Ra was a combination of Amon, a local Theban god, and Ra, the sun god. This painting in the Tomb of Sennedjum, in Luxor, Egypt, from 13 BC, portrays Amon-Ra as the sun rising between two trees and having the head of a falcon.
