Human Brain
The brains of all mammals, including those of humans (shown here) are dominated by a dome-shaped cerebrum (top). The cerebrum, which is responsible for intelligence and reasoning, varies in size among different mammals. It is most highly developed in the primates, which are considered to have the greatest cognitive abilities.
