Computed Tomography Scan

Computed Tomography Scan
A computed tomography (CT) scan produces a cross-sectional image of a portion of the body. In a CT scan, a precisely directed, narrow X-ray beam passes through the body. This imaging method is a highly accurate, painless, diagnostic tool that enables examination of the interior of the body without invasive procedures.
