Port of Genoa

Port of Genoa
Throughout its history, Genoa was an important sea power because of its fine harbor and active merchant community. Bombing in World War II destroyed much of the port of Genoa, but the city has since rebuilt and modernized harbor facilities. The port of Genoa now ranks as one of the busiest in Europe.
