Prehistoric Tools and Their Uses
Prehistoric humans made a great variety of stone tools, many of which were designed for particular tasks. Larger forms, such as axes and adzes, were used to cut and shape wood. Knifelike blade tools were used to butcher animals. Small arrowheads of a variety of shapes and sizes made precise weapons for hunting.
