| Recreational divers wear several pieces of equipment to explore underwater environments. They use an air tank and regulator to breathe, a buoyancy compensator and weight system to remain neutrally buoyant, fins to move quickly, and a mask to see. Divers must also use depth and pressure gauges to track their location, a wet suit to protect them from the elements, and an alternate air source in case of an emergency. | ||||||
