Haber Process

Haber Process
German chemist and Nobel laureate Fritz Haber developed an economical method of producing ammonia from air and seawater. In his process, nitrogren is separated from the other components of air through distillization. Hydrogen is obtained from seawater by passing an electric current through the water. The nitrogren and hydrogen are combined to form ammonia (NH3).
