Tremaine House, Santa Barbara
Similar in style to Lovell House, his best-known building, the Tremaine House (1947-1948) is an excellent example of the distinctive International Style of Austrian American architect Richard Neutra. The clean lines produced by the combination of concrete and large windows give the home an elegant simplicity, while the overhanging roof and patio create a link between the building and its natural surroundings.
