Tuvalu

Tuvalu
The fourth smallest country in the world by landmass, Tuvalu consists of a chain of nine low-lying Pacific islands situated about 4,200 km (about 2,600 mi) southwest of Hawaii. The majority of Tuvalu’s population is ethnic Polynesian. Although Tuvaluans usually wear Western-style clothing, they still wear the traditional clothing pictured here for ceremonial occasions.
