Wood Pigeon

Wood Pigeon
A white patch on the neck and white bands on the wings distinguish the wood pigeon from other types of pigeons. Native to warm, forested climates of Europe and Asia, the wood pigeon is a close relative of the street, or feral, pigeon that is abundant in urban areas worldwide. Each species of pigeon has foraging skills and adaptations that enable it to find food in its habitat.
