Egyptian singer and composer Muhammad Abd ‘al-Wahhab is known for his many creative contributions to Arab music. While retaining Arabic melodies and other musical elements, he experimented with Western compositional techniques and such instruments as the clarinet, cello, electric guitar, and even the synthesizer. Here he performs a selection from the song “Fillil Lamma Khili.”
