Neil Simon
Neil Simon is a contemporary American playwright who once had four plays on Broadway at the same time. His plays deal with family relationships, and the tone is usually humorous. Simon wrote the book for several musicals, including Sweet Charity and Promises, Promises. Several of his plays have been made into films, and he wrote one original screenplay, for The Goodbye Girl. His hit play The Odd Couple became both a film and the basis for a television series.
