Julia Child
Most famous for her television cooking programs, Julia Child was a bestselling author as well. After studying at the Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris, Child wrote Mastering the Art of French Cooking (1961, 1970). Although Child’s cooking programs focused on French cuisine, she also taught basic cooking techniques.
