Minutemen Fight the British
American minutemen, who were far outnumbered by British troops, employed a successful strategy that included persistent sniping from hidden areas in the Battle of Lexington and Concord in 1775. The strategy forced British troops to retreat from the countryside to strongholds in Boston, Massachusetts.
