Woodward and Bernstein

Woodward and Bernstein
American journalist Carl Bernstein, right, worked with fellow journalist Bob Woodward, left, to pursue the Watergate story. This was the scandal about a 1972 break-in at Democratic Party headquarters at the Watergate building in Washington, D.C. As reporters for the Washington Post, Woodward and Bernstein followed the story from the Watergate break-in to the resignation of United States president Richard M. Nixon (1969-1974) two years later.
