English author A. A. Milne wrote the poem "Us Two" (recited here by an actor) for the collection entitled Now We Are Six (1927). The poem features the characters Christopher Robin and his bear, Pooh, who became famous after the publication of Winnie-the-Pooh (1926). Although Milne also wrote literature for adults, including short stories, plays, novels, poetry, and essays, he is best known for the acclaimed children’s stories and poems about the beloved stuffed bear Winnie-the-Pooh.
