Republican National Convention

Republican National Convention
Political conventions are an important function of a political party. During these colorful, boisterous events, representatives from various parts of the country get together to discuss how the party stands on current issues as well as long-standing ones such as tax reform. At the 1988 Republican National Convention, George Bush and Dan Quayle were chosen as the Republican party candidates for president and vice-president, respectively.
