Carlos Saavedra Lamas
Argentine statesman Carlos Saavedra Lamas won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1936. He was awarded the prize for his work as president of the League of Nations and his role as mediator in a conflict between Paraguay and Bolivia in 1932.
