Medical Centrifuge

Medical Centrifuge
A centrifuge is used to separate the components of blood for further analysis. The blood is placed in a test tube and inserted into a sleeve near the center of the centrifuge. The sleeve is then spun at a high speed which causes the heavier components of the blood to move to the bottom of the tube and the lighter components to stay near the top of the test tube.
