Hedgehog
A relative of the mole and the shrew, the hedgehog is covered with long, pointed spines, except on its underbelly where it has soft fur. When threatened, a hedgehog rolls itself into a ball so its spines project in all directions. It is found in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
