| Relying heavily on the excellent passing of American professional football quarterback Bart Starr, the Green Bay Packers won the first Super Bowl game in 1967. The next year the Packers won the Super Bowl again and Starr was voted most valuable player for the second time. Starr was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977. | ||||||
