Magnetic Levitation Train
High-speed magnetic levitation trains, known as maglevs, are faster, smoother, and quieter than conventional trains, although they are not yet practical for commercial transportation. Several countries, including Germany, Japan, and the United States, have maglev development programs. This magnetic levitation train, which is under development in Germany, can reach speeds of 435 km/hr (270 mph).
