Swaziland Landscape

Swaziland Landscape
This mountainous landscape is near the town of Piggs Peak in northwestern Swaziland. The highlands of western Swaziland gradually drop to the central grasslands until the Lebombo Mountains rise on the country’s eastern border with Mozambique. Four rivers cross Swaziland, generating hydroelectric power and providing water for crop irrigation. Most of the country’s population lives and farms in rural areas near these rivers.
