Asphalt Paver

Asphalt Paver
This asphalt paver spreads asphalt evenly over roadbed surfaces. A roller then follows the paver to flatten the asphalt into smooth pavement. Used on more than 90 percent of all paved roads in the United States, asphalt is a black, cementlike material usually derived from crude petroleum.
