Hans Richter
Making his debut in 1875, Hungarian conductor Hans Richter was among the first group of orchestra leaders to be internationally recognized as an artist in his own right. He was closely associated with the music of German composers Richard Wagner and Johannes Brahms and of Austrian composer Anton Bruckner.
